Machined Investment Castings

AMT has installed and operates a 3-axis HAAS machining center for basic milling, drilling and tapping operations. By itself, the lost-wax investment casting process can produce parts to net-shape or near net-shape. When necessary, this secondary machining capability, integrated into the process schedule, can provide cost-effective, in-house control and timely delivery of many types of finished machined investment cast parts. In many instances, when it desirable to purchase a finished component, we can also provide secondary finishing that includes various plating, anodize, chemfilm or powder-coat finishes.
