AMT, Inc. was started on Long Island in 1966 and bought by Beth and Lanning Brandel in 1988. We moved to Sharon Springs, NY in 1990. We are located 40 miles west of Albany, not far from Cooperstown.

Our Process

Investment casting is an ancient art, but a young industry. With its roots in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, its commercial life began during World War II when military demands were overtaxing the machine tool industry. |
Tolerances and Specifications

The cost of any part increases in direct proportion to the preciseness of its dimensional tolerance requirements. This is true of castings, as well as fabricated and machined parts. Investment castings are designed to minimize the cost of producing close tolerance parts. |
Alloy Data

We specialize in castings which vary in size from 0.25 to 6 inches with wall thickness as low as 0.020 inch. And we can satisfy orders from prototype quantities to larger production runs. |
