Quality at the start:

All our critical raw materials are subject to incoming testing and verification. Incoming alloys go through a master heat qualification process including chemical and mechanical testing. Slurries are constantly monitored using a variety of tests performed to verify process integrity. Pattern and gating wax formulations are certified and used in a controlled environment to ensure dimensional stability.


Each casting gets 100% visual inspected. A custom designed Automated Visual Inspection unit is used to consistently inspect high volume small castings. Depending upon requirements, castings will also go through FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection), MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection), Radiographic (X-Ray), or Dimensional verification. AMT can provide our customers with necessary layout information and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) for initial part qualification.


Whether your casting need ranges from a general industrial product to the most stringent aerospace application, we can cover your quality requirements and specifications. Our quality systems are fully documented and all supplier and process certifications are digitally archived for immediate retrieval. Using our own quality processes along with our network of approved vendor partners, AMT is capable of meeting your necessary chemistry, mechanical, dimensional, NDT, inspection, and process control requirements.
